Mule Days 2011

This year we endured boiling temperatures to host our steak sandwich sale at Gordo's annual Mule Days. The heat may have deterred the normally large crowds, but our sale was still a success. We sold over 300 sandwiches and nearly that many sweet teas. A speacial thanks to our members who made this event possible and our Pickens County Cattlemen chefs who grilled the steaks to perfection!

In addition to the rib-eye sandwich sale, we also hosted the Youth Tractor Races. Contestants in both age groups (2- 3 year olds & 5-7 year olds) had a blast racing their tractors. It is hard to say who enjoyed the races more... the children or the spectators.
